Cholera: A significant global health concern
Today, Angola received two thousand doses of cholera vaccines, donated by Africa CDC.
On the occasion, the Secretary of State for Public Health, Carlos Alberto Pinto de Sousa, said that the donation strengthens the fight against the disease and strengthens the exchange with regional and international health institutions.
Currently, cholera affects 13 provinces in the country, with the highest incidence in the provinces of Luanda and Bengo.
