The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) in Dhaka reported 807 additional measles cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the total cases reported since March 15 to 91,789.
10,949 confirmed cases were reported.
The death tally stands at 677, including 93 confirmed fatalities.
Health experts proposed four specific measures: continuing the priority vaccination drive, establishing fever corners at district and upazila health complexes for quick screening, distributing WHO-approved treatment guidelines among all health workers, and raising mass awareness.
