Dengue
The Florida Department of Health reported five additional locally acquired dengue fever cases during the past week-Manatee County (3), Miami-Dade County (1) and Pasco County (1).
This brings the total of autochthonous cases reported in the state to 79 through December 14.
The cases were reported in the following counties: Broward (2), Hillsborough (5), Manatee (4), Miami-Dade (47), Monroe (3), Orange (2), Palm Beach (3), Pasco (11), Polk, and Sarasota.
The number of travel associated dengue cases have risen to 881 after 22 additional cases were reported last week.

Other arbovirus infections
State officials reported six additional travel associated Oropouche cases last week, bringing the total to 96.
Counties reporting cases were: Broward (3), Collier, Duval, Hillsborough (13), Lee (5), Marion, Miami-Dade (56), Orange (3), Palm Beach (2), Pasco (3), Polk (6), Sarasota, and St. Lucie. The country of origin for all 96 cases was Cuba.
Two human cases of West Nile Virus (WNV) infection were reported this past week in Okeechobee and Pasco counties.
In 2024, eighteen human cases of WNV illness acquired in Florida have been reported.
