In a follow-up on the measles situation in England, the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) reports 213 laboratory confirmed measles cases through April 10, an increase of 62 cases since the last report about a month ago.
The number of laboratory confirmed measles cases by month of symptom onset in 2025 to date are: January 89, February 67, March 54 and 3 so far in April.
The majority (128 of 213, 60%) of these cases were in children aged 10 years and under, and 34% (72 of 213) were in young people and adults aged 15 years and over. 24% (52 of 213) of these cases have been in London, 21% (44 of 213) in the South West, and 17% (37 of 213) in Yorkshire and Humber.
No acute measles-related deaths have been reported so far in 2025.
