Florida state health officials reported five additional travel associated dengue fever cases during the week ending July 18, bringing the total cases to 43 since the beginning of the year.
15 counties have reported dengue cases this year to date: Brevard, Broward (6), Hillsborough (3), Lake, Lee (2), Manatee, Miami-Dade (16), Orange (2), Osceola, Palm Beach (4), Polk, Sarasota, St. Johns, St. Lucie (2), and Walton. Two cases were reported in non-Florida residents.
37 cases were serotyped by PCR and the findings include DENV-2 and DENV-3 with 16 cases each, DENV-1 and DENV-4 with 2 cases each and one positive with both DENV-2 and DENV-3.

There are 13 countries of origin with Cuba being the most common with 15 cases.
No locally transmitted dengue cases have been reported in Florida in 2026 to date.
