According to the Quezon City Epidemiology & Surveillance Division (QCESD), dengue cases in Quezon City have reached 5,682 from January 1 to July 10, 2025. District 2 recorded its highest case with 1,620 (29%) and thirteen reported deaths due to dengue across the city.
The city government also said that QCESD data showed that children 10 years old and below made up more than half of the dengue cases.
Even if Dengue cases have dropped, Adequate Precautions Should Still Be Taken.
- Do the Search and Destroy and Clean-Up Drive regularly.
- Cover drums or water tanks, buckets, and any containers that can store water and mosquito nets.
- Self Protection Measures. Protect yourself against mosquitoes by wearing long sleeves and pants, using a sleeping mosquito spray or mosquito repellant.
- CONSULT the nearest health center IMMEDIATELY if you have symptoms of dengue such as fever, headache and stomach ache, for appropriate and prompt care. Free Dengue tests and Check-ups are still available at Health Centers.
