The SouthCarolina Department of Public Health (DPH) is reporting 9 new cases of measles in the state since Friday, bringing the total number of cases in South Carolina related to the Upstate outbreak to 153 and the total number reported to DPH this year to 156.
Five of the new cases were known household exposures, two resulted from a previously reported school exposure, the source of one is unknown and one is still being investigated.
There are currently 249 people in quarantine and seven in isolation.
Vaccination status:
145 unvaccinated, 3 partially vaccinated with one of the recommended two-dose MMR sequence, 1 vaccinated, and 4 unknown.
