Signs that parents need to pay attention to children with hand, foot and mouth disease include:
When suffering from hand, foot and mouth disease, children have signs of sore throat, mild fever, fussiness, loss of appetite, diarrhea,... especially blisters. If the blisters are in the mouth, they will burst into ulcers, but the blisters on the palms of the hands, soles of the feet, knees, and buttocks will usually not burst and will then gradually dry.
The disease process usually lasts from 5 to 7 days, maybe more than 10 days. After that, the blisters can dry on their own, stabilize on their own, and the child will recover on their own.
