The Dominican Republic has registered a significant reduction of 65.54% in dengue cases during the year 2024, compared to 2023, which stands out as a model of effectiveness in the implementation of preventive and control measures, where citizens, together with public and private institutions and the Provincial Directorates and Health Areas (DPS/DAS), played a fundamental role, therefore, the Ministry of Public Health recognizes and appreciates the contributions made to prevent this disease.
