The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) announced recently that a white-tailed deer that exhibited neurologic symptoms and died on August 12, 2024, in Lisbon, Connecticut, was infected with the eastern equine encephalitis (EEE) virus.
